Quoting: Hugh M Eye Which CME is this? 20 hours?????????? Quoting: #Geomagnetic_Storm# Hello there, GS, this CME was from the C2 LDE event on Feb. 9th. .Forecast...The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on day one (12 February) due to the arrival of the 09 February CME. Days two and three (13-14 February) should see a return to quiet conditions. [ link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] Should be another 'glancing blow' as it was north of the ecliptic. Why they (NASA) forecast a 20-hour event is a puzzle. We shall see. Quoting: Hugh M Eye Thanks. That 20 hour disturbance caught my attention.
