So I read it and this is indeed hat they are monitoring for,Gravitational Tide.

Though I still would not worry - the results if they do measure some effect will be of help in general.

I'm absolutely not feeding into the drama of this, it is what it is ... however I personally find it very exciting as a unique event, and hoping they are honest with their observations.

Kinda like watching old sol, doom or no doom .... it's simply awesome to observe something no one has had the opportunity to observe before.

I think that people get caught up in the potential hazards and resulting doom, rather than come to acceptance that there's nothing you can do about it, you are are simply mortal (= your gonna die one way or another). Enjoy the ride, and educate yourself on the way.

Sol held its shape in the southwest quite nice, lets see if a triangle pops up again.

It was from a)Close shave with Northerly headed CME on the 12th b)slight CHS and c)Sector Boundary Crossing.

.24 hr Summary...
ACE data indicated minor solar wind changes during the period. Wind
speed was variable in the 331 to 412 km/s range. Intervals of
weakly-enhanced IMF Bt (peak 11 nT around 13/1648 UTC) occurred during
the first half of the period. IMF Bz was southward during most of the
period (peak southward deflection -9 nT at around 13/2140 UTC). Phi
readings indicated an Away (+) solar sector during most of the period.

.Forecast...
A gradual, modest increase in wind speed is possible during the period
(14 - 16 Feb), associated with a coronal hole high-speed stream (CH
HSS). Ambient-mode WSA-Enlil model output predicts peak speeds around
450 km/s late in the period associated with the CH HSS.


Geospace

.24 hr Summary...
Geomagnetic field activity ranged from quiet to active levels. The field
was quiet during 13/1200 - 1800 UTC. The field became unsettled during
the 13/1800 - 2100 UTC interval. A further increase to active levels
occurred during the 13/2100 - 14/0000 UTC interval. Activity decreased
to unsettled levels after 14/0000 UTC. The active interval was due to
increased solar wind speeds and IMF Bt coupled with a sustained period
of southward IMF Bz.

.Forecast...
The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet at quiet to unsettled
levels on day 1 (14 Feb). Quiet levels are expected during days 2 - 3

Hitting almost kp5, we are lucky it is just a close shave.

The filaments eruptions from a few days ago, now I remember.

I was still correct in my original statement then, CH and filaments are the new doom.
