It seems my talking about the sun's activities has rubbed off on my daughter more than I realized, after all, we never think our kiddos listen to us. She is doing a paper for her CP English class in 9th grade about how a solar flare could effect Earth in bringing down the grid. The main point will be that a Carrington Event will happen again, not if but when, and wishing that the world would be prepared for such a happening. After listening to her talk, I was amazed at what she has learned from me. That she is going to use this for her class paper and then debate made me a proud solar mama!!
