Solar activity was low. Newly numbered Region 1678 (N10W32, Dai/beta) has shown some rapid interior spot growth and was the source of a C2 flare event at 19/1051 UTC. Region 1675 (N13W03, Cao/beta) showed minor spot decay in its intermediate and trailer portions and has changed from a beta-gamma magnetic configuration to a beta magnetic configuration. Region 1673 (S09E24, Cao/beta-gamma) showed minor interior spot growth and a weak beta-gamma magnetic configuration. No significant change was noted in the remaining spotted regions. A coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed on the northwest limb at 19/0448 UTC in LASCO C2 imagery. Further analysis is required to determine whether it is earth-directed. Seems the suns slowly focussing in our direction.
