Good-bye 1678- :1678comp: AR1665 is returning soon in the NE. It was a large alpha spot when we last saw it, but it appears very bright now in the extreme ultraviolet images. STEREO B EUVI: [ link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] Should be back in a day or two: [ link to www.solarham.net] What potential it had, it will return the energy for further solar parties. Minimums mixed with occasional big events can be very entertaining and alarming
