I hope their prediction is wrong, or the chart is incorrect. It would far exceed any expectation I wouuld have had for today. I see the K index just went down to 5.  Yes I noticed that too. But the prediction still appears to be for a 9 or pretty darn close to it. hmmmm Let's hope they are wrong. [ link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] Just to be cautious, a few minutes ago, we put our best computers in our Faraday.
