I just found this picture of the sunspot I took before I was a SunTard. Do any of you remember the number??? May 4, 2012 [ link to www.flickr.com] Howdy, GeoStorm, that would be old AR1476, one of the biggest sunspot groups of 2012. This region produced a huge CME as it exited over the west limb; showering Earth and SOHO with protons.   :C3 proton storm:
