Gorgeous !!

Looks like the latest alert on space weather was a filament liftoff @ 13:00 just off 1704.
 Quoting: TS66

Hello 66!

At 13:00?

I think I am still confused...do you mean they just alerted the Filament ejection from the North?

Or one just *popped* off?

Sorry,ich bin kaput!

Sorry, had to run to the store to buy food for Easter dinner ....

13:22 to be exact

No activity on GOES for that time frame.

Space Weather Message Code: ALTTP2

ALERT: Type II Radio Emission
Begin Time: 2013 Mar 30 1322 UTC
Estimated Velocity: 814 km/s
Description: Type II emissions occur in association with eruptions on the sun and typically indicate a coronal mass ejection is associated with a flare event.

Hiya, 66 hf I found this a bit unusual, too. I went SDO at that time frame and saw a couple of little flares (1708 & 1710) but nothing like a big eruption. So I checked the SOHO and STEREO Coronagraphs next....nope, nothing there. Then I double-checked the GONG Network thinking "What am I missing? Was it back-side?" hehe a B4 flare? Are you kidding me? The X-ray background is at B3! WTF? Old Sol sure is unpredictable...now he's sending out radio messages to us, hmmmnn.
