I still think that AR1726 looks like a fusion of two magnetic fields. Siamese twin sunspots groups now morphing into a larger structure. Early x-ray images from yesterday even showed a two-lobed x-ray configuration. Time will tell, but I believe this may lead to increased volatility in this region.
