Power Surge in Sherwood, Oregon blows the stupid smart meters off some houses! Makes me wonder if the old analog meters would have reacted this way? I also wonder if the surge was really caused by just a tree or perhaps the solar flare and subsequent proton surge this morning?!

The PGE status of the outage says the cause is "unknown". Where are the pictures of the downed tree?
