SOLAR WATCH * Huge X8.2 Flare Sept. 10, 2017! (Updated Daily) | |
shadasonic User ID: 41520215 United States 08/09/2013 11:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Magellanic Clouds, two dwarf galaxies orbiting our galaxy, are at the head of a huge gaseous filament known as the Magellanic Stream. Since the Stream's discovery in the early 1970s, astronomers have wondered whether this gas comes from one or both of the satellite galaxies. Now, new Hubble observations show that most of the gas was stripped from the Small Magellanic Cloud about two billion years ago — but surprisingly, a second region of the stream was formed more recently from the Large Magellanic Cloud. “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan |

Pa. according to our weather report this evening. I already saw a big one, night before last. It was in the Northeast sky, came in and swelled up blue, dimmed, then expanded again, green this time. I said, in another post, it was so unusual I expected to hear a sonic boom, so wouldn't be surprised if there are one or two booms this weekend. Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... I just stepped out for a quick smoke and saw a nice meteor that came out from Cassiopeia & had a short smoke-trail behind. Very fast, a typical Perseid. Earlier we had much rain and lightning storms here in TN, so I was surprised to walk out and see a million stars. After a long period of static, I'm starting to hear a lot of whistlers on that Radar Echo link I posted. I just let it run in the background on my computer. By the way, the only time I saw the Aurora Borealis was at Rickett's Glen in upstate Pennsy. Beautiful country up there. |

Air Force officials are hopeful that the facility would open and resume operations in mid-August. DARPA currently has a sizeable funding bloc allocated for additional ionospheric research in the fall of 2013, so it will likely have to be open for that research. The shuttering of HAARP has apparently arisen from a contractor regime change. The facility’s operations were previously administered by Kaktovik Inupiat Corp. subsidiary — and 8(a) contractor — Marsh Creek, LLC. Reportedly in talks to take over the contract is regional Alaska Native corporation Ahtna, which oversees the area of Gakona, where HAARP is located. Neither Marsh Creek nor Ahtna returned requests for comment Wednesday.(snip) “I understand that … DARPA intends to run a campaign this fall, so the facility will be open for that,” Smith said. “So the notion that it is completely closed down is not quite correct, though it is certainly not operational at the moment.” Though HAARP is continually manned and maintained when operational, there aren’t always experiments being conducted at the facility. “HAARP doesn’t operate continually,” said Dr. Brenton Watkins, professor emeritus of physics at UAF. “It operates in a ‘campaign’ mode with kind of two-week periods of activity. I’ve been involved in every operational campaign for — I think — the last five years.” He said that though the facility being closed in the summer time is better for the equipment inside than if the heat were shut off in the winter, he still can’t get in to conduct maintenance on the equipment he works with. He said that he primarily works with a “diagnostic radar” intended to better understand experiments as they’re conducted. interesting report here: [link to aircrap.org] Last Edited by Hugh M Eye on 08/10/2013 02:40 AM |

The physical body dies and nothing is left of it. The physical body is composed of earthly material and at death it returns to earth. It is dust and to dust it returns. silvervega User ID: 14673627 United States 08/11/2013 12:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LET'S GET METAPHYSICAL DEPT.- Quoting: Hugh M Eye Ordinary man has only the physical body. The physical body dies and nothing is left of it. The physical body is composed of earthly material and at death it returns to earth. It is dust and to dust it returns. It is impossible to talk of any kind of 'immortality' for a man of this sort. But if a man has the second body, this second body is composed of material of the planetary world and it can survive the death of the physical body. It is not immortal in the full sense of the word, because after a certain period of time it also dies. But at any rate it does not die with the physical body. If a man has the third body it is composed of material of the sun and it can exist after the death of the 'astral' body. "The fourth body is composed of material of the starry world, that is, of material that does not belong to the solar system, and therefore, if it has crystallized within the limits of the solar system there is nothing within this system that could destroy it. This means that a man possessing the fourth body is immortal within the limits of the solar system." — P.D. Ouspensky, In Search of the Miraculous [link to www.gurdjiefflegacy.org] Great post, hadn't read anything like that before. Mind if I post it on Gabe's thread, quite a few esoteric thinkers there would love it. This post changed my thinking today, it shattered some walls! Opened doors and made me let it go. I lurk a lot but when thanks need to be given I willingly give it. Thank You Last Edited by silvervega on 08/11/2013 12:32 AM On the other hand, I have different fingers. |
