The Nova Delphinus 2013 star explosion can be seen by the naked eye from places without too much light pollution, skywatching experts say. The stellar phenomenon is expected to be visible for weeks to come, and its location in the night sky should make the nova easy for even novice stargazers to spot. I think there might be just a tad too much light pollution. I did not try to use my telescope though, just the binoculars, trying to sight it in first. THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH OF EVERYTHING TO GO AROUND When you are undisciplined, the universe is extremely forgiving and when you are disciplined, the universe is extremely generous. NOAA forecasters estimate a 30% - 45% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on August 22 - 23 i also love how they leave out how the "aurora season" is mainly due to the hole in the ozone :( but anyways, because of this, any CME that are directed at Earth will have a bit more of an affect than they normally would. a CME that would cause a Kp5 in the spring time, can now be capable of producing up to Kp7 - Kp9 2011 and 2012, we seen most of the Strong geomagnetic storms in the Kp7+ range from the month of Aug through Dec The strength of many of them surprised a lot of us because the CME that produced them did not look to be strong enough to cause such strong geomagnetic storming.
