Did you catch AR1967s' size!?
2440 Millionths! [link to www.solen.info]
The largest region of Cycle 24 was this spot on the last rotation weighing in at 2600 Millionths - The largest of Cycle 23 was AR9393(I think!?)at 2400 Millionths which makes 1967 the Second largest region for quite some time.

I am having trouble finding a good list of SCs and Sunspot Area,so I may be incorrect...if anyone has a clue where I can source better info it would be muchos apprecito!

Ah,so - we have one in SC23 that was larger than AR1944 - AR10486 at 2610 Millionths - just 10 Millionths larger.
Still - This region(AR1944/67)is up there with the largest of 23 and 24 so far!
