Hello0o Folks : ) Did you catch AR1967s' size!? 2440 Millionths! [ link to www.solen.info] The largest region of Cycle 24 was this spot on the last rotation weighing in at 2600 Millionths - The largest of Cycle 23 was AR9393(I think!?)at 2400 Millionths which makes 1967 the Second largest region for quite some time. I am having trouble finding a good list of SCs and Sunspot Area,so I may be incorrect...if anyone has a clue where I can source better info it would be muchos apprecito! BL². Quoting: Spittin'Cesium Maybe this will help a little? [ link to sites.stat.psu.edu] [ link to users.telenet.be] [ link to www.ips.gov.au] Quoting: °Lucy° Thanks to Lucy links, I'm posting on image below "Top 50 largest regions (sunspot groups) since 1874" [ link to img853.imageshack.us] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28239113 Ah,so - we have one in SC23 that was larger than AR1944 - AR10486 at 2610 Millionths - just 10 Millionths larger. Still - This region(AR1944/67)is up there with the largest of 23 and 24 so far! Thank you for posting Lucy!
