We're just tossing around ideas and concepts here cowboy! We're trying to find commonality...It's no different than your global conspiracy scenario...you post something that coincides with someone else's experience...so on and so forth. Prophetic dreams may not ring true for you but that doesn't invalidate them simply because you cant wrap your head around it...let the more spiritual/abstract players on this forum waddle through the data....Stick to your illuminati scenarios...we promise not to point and laugh!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1291710

You really think I can't wrap my head around that simple concept? I understand the concept completely. What I am doing is calling it bullshit.
 Quoting: BigBalla

You concrete thinkers are funny creatures! If you can't measure it with your set of tape measures then it must not exist! Your smug, ego-centered-based view on reality is fueled by your own inability to think outside your carefully constructed sandbox....but heaven forbid someone calls you out on your own "paranoid" ideas of a global conspiracy".....See what i did there? Abstract ideas on prophetic dreams are invalid to you but a world-wide oogy-boogy illuminati, global conspiracy is valid!! If you dont get that then your either really young or just a little stoooopid...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1291710

So basically you are saying the Illuminati is fake and I am saying that 'prophetic dreams' are fake.

Guess what? There is only ONE TRUTH regarding those things.

I am confident that I am right, and you are confident that you are right. That's where it will end, we will never get anywhere.

Funny thing is if we both had to prove our theories I would have a much easier job than you would.
 Quoting: BigBalla

Of course...mine is more abstract....yours is based on concrete data. The difference is that it's difficult to define a spiritual, non-concrete idea/thing... Some of us just see/feel a "thing"...It's not measurable with a concrete device. DO NOT ASSUME IT'S NOT VALID BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DEFINE IT. Again, some people are hard-wired differently...It's too bad you can't appreciate the uniqueness of the human mind.

Re: Tsunami Dream
I have had two dreams that were extremely vivid and so real they made me wake up. These happened a few years ago.

(I don't live anywhere near doom--I live in MN)

The first dream was an earthquake dream. Never been in one but I was in a public building of some sort with a lot of windows and it felt like I was riding a wave of concrete beneath me. Very real. I have never experienced an earthquake before but feel like I have because it was so real.

The second dream was a "water" dream. I was in a place like a hotel with big tile floors that felt cool on my feet. Out of nowhere this wall of water hits me so hard that I am knocked off my feet and brings me under water.
All I could think about was that I was going to die that day. I'm drowning and the water filled up to well over my head in seconds in this room that I'm in. It was so real just because of the feeling of the massive water that hit me so hard. The one thing that bothered me about this dream is that earlier in the dream I thought I was in Florida because my aunts and my mother were in this dream...One aunt had passed away but she was in one room with my Mother (who will probably be the next sister to die as her health is bad) but two other sisters (the youngest ones) were in another room with me briefly...there was an arguement that had taken place and my heart sank. So for this reason I felt like I was in Florida because of all of them. The other thing was that the oldest sister (still alive) was not in this dream for some reason.

Like I said, I believe that anything is possible.

Yes, it is POSSIBLE that a human being could have a 'prophetic dream.'

What I am saying is, that it's my personal opinion that it is very unlikely that it's possible that humans predict things through their dreams.

Don't think so limited..

Our brains are very smart and apparently record and save every memory. It's possible that in our sleeping life - subconscious - our brains put complicated puzzle pieces together and hint to us about future events.

May be more intuition than prophecy here. Doesn't invalidate it.

Oh, BTW, i wasn't implying that the illuminati conspiracy thing is fake...I was simply trying to illustrate a point...There will be some who will deny a global conspiracy no matter the evidence...Some people just aren't structured/wired to accept certain things...hence your inability to see past empirical data...I happen to believe in prophetic dreams/visions AND illuminati conspiracy concepts...that initial "LEAP OF FAITH" of both concepts are not alien to me. I assume nothing...Everything is possible...that's how you first became interested in conspiracy stuff, right? You took that initial leap of faith when you first started your research im sure.....see how that works.

You would be surprised just how wonderous and complex this world really is...once you get past that initial RESISTANCE....think about it.

I think it's silly to think we can or can't predict the future. The verdict's out. We don't know enough about human consciousness and the brain to know its true power.

Dreams are functional, the evolved for a reason. It's possible you can "figure stuff out" in your dreams, and make great conclusions and predictions. In fact, it's very likely, as almost everyone has had experiences of dreaming about events before they happen.

It makes a lot of sense from a scientific/evolutionary standpoint.

I think everyones had a dream that is like no other, and had a disaster of some kind associated with it.

However, when they start happening during your waking hours, then you've gone into intuition overdrive.

If we ALL ahare, perhaps then we will 'organize' in a useful way.

A couple days, a few hours really, before, I'd come to a conclusion, that with all the guakes surrounding Indonesia, that perhaps the next big quake wouldn't be westcoast, because the last MEGAquake in the 1700's there, would be answered by the next big one on the OPPOSITE side of this big attached plate as the earth expands, more or less equally, like a ballon.

I thought, why didn't I think of this before?

Because, nobody I could have helped, would have really listened, I'm not a professional, and although my friends are fascinated, I didn't want to scare them needlessly, again.

Thankfully I'd no one to tell across the sea, as I would have truly regretted that horror.

We H A V E to share, it's A L L we've got. How 'goofy' would it be to have had this 'skill' all along, and not been able/not know how, to use it.

Organize everything.

Randomness=Chaos?

Peace IN!
