What was the biggest lie told by your parents that you believed when you were a child, however later realised they had lied to you all along

There was a park across the street from our house that my father would take me to three times a week. It was between the ages of 2 and 7. He told me it was my park. He called it "Skippers Park" (my name is Skip). Totally bought in until some other random kid and i were playing at the park and he told me it was his park. His father had told him that. My brothers had to break the news to me that day.....

Xtianity is truth. They still don't know they're lying. I had to figure this one out on my own.
