TSA "planting" of evidence so as to justify a more intrusive search?

A recent experience with the Airport TSA people and the new
X-Ray Body Scanners:

I have flown a fair number of times since the X-Ray Body Scanners have come into use ... and other than the first couple of times have always "Declined going through the X-Ray Body Scanner" due to all the various issues discussesed as to unknown long term medical consequences, privacy, etc..

Recently when I declined and they did their (now to me) normal search and testing of various items for being potential explosives and their testing machine started spitting out "POTENTIAL EXPLOSIVE" results ... and then the Fun and Games Began.

The MORE they tested ... the MORE the results showed "POTENTIAL EXPLOSIVE" so they became increasingly intrusive with their testing.

The long and short of the story, that came to light about 90 minutes into the search was THAT THE SPECIFIC BUTYL GLOVES THAT THEY WERE USING TO INSPECT ME ... AND ME ONLY ... (out of a special box of gloves) NOT ANY OTHER PERSON BEING TESTED HAD GLOVES COMING OUT OF THAT BOX, WERE WHAT WAS CAUSING THE POSITIVE POTENTIAL EXPLOSIVE RESULTS OUT OF THE SPECTROMITER MACHINE!!

The INSPECTION GLOVES THEMSELVES from that one box, gloves from a box that they were NOT using on any other person but me, WERE THEMSELVES CONTAMINATED!!

More than one way to justify an ever more intrusive search I suppose ... plant some evidence, in this case use contaminated gloves, to search the ONE PERSON that you are pissed at because they refused to "voluntarily" go through a body scan machine.

A strange day at the airport ...
