It goes without saying that multiple rape is a serious crime. However, each individual is still only guilty of the crime of rape, if you think about it from the point of view of individual liability. I have no problem with the death penalty for rape so I don't see why we need to wring our hands over how much more serious gang rape is... just execute the piece of shit if he's guilty and be done with it.

My point stands that feminists have been very activist in this area of law and have done a great deal of harm. There is no point punishing innocent men for the crimes committed by other men. Yet that is the only possible interpretation I can see for why the feminists have been pursuing the legislative and judicial activism they have in this area. Why do we need to reduce the standards of evidence in the case of rape?? Innocent until proven guilty and yes, we already know that means that some guilty people are going to get away with their crime because there just wasn't enough evidence to prove their guilt. But to reduce these standards is to become an accomplice to the crime of wrongly convicting the innocent. How ironic is it when a man is falsely accused of rape and sentenced to prison because of the skewed standards of evidence, where he is raped. Isn't that a bit as if the false accuser had the man raped?

I agree with Clayton in this sense, we can't overgeneralize regarding rape nor accuse people without proper evidence. If for instance an investigation is launched and it concludes, just for the sake of example, that the girl lied and she complied or was even fomenting the act, the crime shouldn't be charged the same way as if they physically threatened her for sex. All these nuances should be taken into account in cases of rape, but it seems that justice has become very narrowsighted regarding these cases that involve minors, and also sometimes the ones regarding adults.

Just my two cents.

Anyone care to dispute the following with examples?

In any city where large numbers of black people settle in one community you find animal-like behaviour.

If you get black people living mixed in with white communities they seem to act like normal human beings.

For some reason you don't get the same if you get Chinese or Koreans living together, or Indians for that matter. Its a black thing.
