Well, if it's a great white you run the chance of drowning before you bleed to death, and I don't much like the thought of drowning.

Then again, it could be quicker than being torn to bits by a bear, and eaten alive..

I think I'd rather be on dry land and able to hear myself scream rather than holding my breath underwater while being chewed to pieces.

GW you just feel an initial snap and tug. A limb or part of a torso is gone and you bleed out quickly, possibly before another bite. Sometimes:-)

Bear attack can last for quite a bit before death, I think it would be a longer death. That might be good though to put up a good fight.:-)

I didn't think grizzly bears or sharks liked the taste of us. Most grizzly attacks are from trying to defend their cubs, and most shark attacks are them being curious and trying to see if you are edible.

I would prefer to go by bear.

Unless of course God shows up with that sense of humor He has and you get eaten alive by both in a freak incident on the shores of the Pacific northwest.

a big great white could swallow you whole, i'm sure that would be pretty quick.

You can "maybe" fight off a Grizzly with sticking your big ass knife into his head, but a White Shark will definetly kill you, Grizzly like 90% is going to kill you, so 10%, i´ll take the fucking Grizzly!

They are wild animals, CARNIVORES! THEY DO EAT PEOPLE as any other animal that they can catch! Most shark attacks are because SHARKS EAT MEAT, has nothing to do with curiosity. They can feel your muscles contracting from more than 1000 meters, you really think that they dont know that humans are edible?
