I was hooked on that shit for a little more that a year. I smoked it and snorted it.

If you really want to throw your life down the toilet then I suggest you try it. While on that shit you think that you can maintain control with your life. I always had this feeling of being bullet-proof. But in reallity I was FU--ING TWEEKED out of my mind. I turned on all my family and friends that werent tweeking with me. Crystal is the worst thing that has ever happened to my life.

The only reason Im here today is because I have a wonderful mom and brother. After I decided that I wanted to quit they supported me. I owe them my life and can never fully repay them. I treated them like utter shit when I was tweeking. Actually I didnt treat anyone shitty when I was tweeking, it was when I would come down off the shit-----BOOM-----I was like a time bomb ready to go off on anyone.

My life has been a struggle ever since I got off the crystal. Ive been clean for just about 2 years now and let me tell you that it is still an uphill battle. I pray that anyone on crystal that is reading this right now would come to there senses and put the shit down. But as a former user I know someone will only quit there addiction when they are ready to.

Oh by the way I have also quit smoking cigs also. I havent had a cig since May 1 of this year. Honestly it seems harder to quit cigs than the tweek.

It took me 4 years or so to begin resembling the person I was before I started. It turns off the part of the brain that can connect with God. It also hard-wries your brain to release reward hormone.

Some people do not ever recover their ability to feel good. I did, maybe because I never went more than 2 or 3 days in a row like some people I know who went 30 days without sleep and longer.

I am only a coffee addict myself, but have seen meth users firsthand and they are usually more strung/whacked/spaced out than other druggies. That stuff has to be strong watching people go through withdraws and their system no longer works right after taking so much. Watched a guy drink 7-8 cups of Starbucks coffee while we discussed illuminati/world ending etc... and he was able to almost immediately fall asleep right on their table with noise, traffic everywhere!

If you have to use a drug to avoid reality, try something different...

Ask MsPjs7, he is a big power kinda guy. Heck, it turned his hair white and then it fell out.

I too was addicted to this shit for a few years.As a former user I can say from experience that this stuff is best avoided, period. It made me lose all sense of reality, in effect turned me into a mad woman. If it weren´t for the support of the few remaining friends I had left, I´d probably be either in an institution or dead today. Problem is, because of nature of this highly addictive substance, reality becomes so distorted that it was difficult to admit that I had a problem. I´ve been clean for almost 7 years, and I will never ever go back there again....

Most makers are only trying to supply their own needs or their friends.

I have a theory that people will do the drug available. If they had left pot alone, people would still be doing pot. Crystal meth is just available. Now they´re putting the cold remedies behind the pharmacy to eliminate meth. Something will take Meth´s place soon. Probably something the CIA pushes.

very ironic I just happened upon this topic....just last night I found a cut straw in my husbands wallet and then just a few minutes ago found a white residue in four of those containers that zippo lighters come in, in his bathroom........I know what coke tastes like, does crystal meth taste the same.....????? If I have uncovered what I have felt down deep that he has been doing for the past two years....what do I do....we have a 6 year old daughter. This is just totally devestaing to me......need advice please.

I know this is going to sound outrageous, but...
you might consider calling the law. They might be able to get him into a drug program if he is arrested, and in jail, he can´t do meth. Meth users aren´t treated too badly in court. They throw the book at cookers.
I don´t know of anyone who quit voluntarily, once they started.

I´ve got one acquaintance who continued after he was released, and is now serving about 12 years because he went back into it. He´s only about 24.

If you must, shoot heroin, coke or even rat poison, but stay away from Ice and meth.

Crack is bad enough, but being a natural compound not nearly as harmful as meth.

Once you partake in methamphetamine, you are no longerthe same person, and the effects are permanent.

A crack user or a heroin user can totally recover, but a crank head will always have part of them that never comes back.

To clarify, I would rather see a crankhead shoot rat poison than meth because at least the bastard would be unable to cause more harm to society.

I worked with a woman who I am certain used meth. She was at work 6:30 a.m. and stayedthere all day. She was friggin crazy. She was so stick thin a strong wind would blow her over. She drank coffee and smoked cigarettes as well.

She would pick fights with this huge black girl we worked with. Ballsmade of solid rock. Her husband was cheating with a stripper. But she sure as hell wasn´tgoing back to the trailer park.
