Sun eruption X-Flare Earth directed blast, prepare for impact!!!!
March 9th ended with a powerful solar flare. Earth-orbiting satellites detected an X1.5-class explosion from behemoth sunspot 1166 around 2323 UT. A movie from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory shows a bright flash of UV radiation plus some material being hurled away from the blast site.

Great geomagnetic storms in a two max three days.

Possibly some power outage in some areas.

Re: Sun eruption X-Flare Earth directed blast, prepare for impact!!!!
To clarify what x-flare means:

Scientists classify solar flares according to their x-ray brightness in the wavelength range 1 to 8 Angstroms. There are 3 categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. M-class flares are medium-sized; they can cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth's polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth.

i believe the flare already hit us

you are expecting a CME, which I'm not sure of

Yes but this CME is earth directed as it says on spaceweather website so it will be a full impact.

I agree but if you look left on that website to image of sunspots in question (witch caused this eruption). you will see that it is earth oriented and they are only waiting to confirm the obvious.

This is second event in 4 years that x flare is produced in last month and it is sent toward Earth.

This will cause radio blackouts if hit.

Dude..get with the programme. It already hit us and has faded already.
