SUN AND MOON ADD TO EARTH'S WOES
As if the problems being caused on planet Earth by ourselves are not enough to contend with, the sun and moon are seemingly conspiring against us to push our social environments to extremes. From a psychological perspective, some might make the case that humanity's heightened state of agitation is simply a byproduct of increasing natural turbulence. Well, two such events are set to wash over the Earth in the very near future, one over the weekend and the other on 3.19.2011. The first is a gift from the sun; a huge solar flare erupted yesterday pointed directly at Earth. Aurora could be visible from as far south as New York City this weekend. The second gift is courtesy of the moon; a super-sized moon [caused by the moon passing as close to the Earth as it can, the first in 18 years] will be visible on March 19. In the past, 'super moons' have coincided with natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes. Although scientists have not definitively linked the correlation, years when 'super moons' have appeared have coincided with extreme weather and other natural disaster events. With the global economy in such a precarious position as it is, and unrest as prevalent as it is today, one has to wonder if the Earth and its inhabitants can handle a double-whammy from the sun and moon.

AMERICANS LARGELY TOO DUMB FOR CLIMATE SCIENCE
The study of human behavior is an infinitely complex science. What makes us do what we do; how do we perceive risk; how do we process information? These are all questions that behavior scientists attempt to answer by studying human behavior. For example, a recent study has just recently been published that showed that people are more apt to agree that climate change is occurring and is a threat to them personally than they are to believe the same for global warming. A strange fact when you consider that climate change is caused from a warming planet. That kind of irrational thinking is just the tip of the iceberg; Americans' view of climate change is primarily dependent upon the temperature outside on the day the question is asked. As if that weren't enough, studies have also indicated that the indoor thermostat settings play a major role for most Americans on whether they agree with scientists' claim that the planet has been slowly heating up over the past century and a half. It is no wonder that Americans, especially, lag behind the rest of the world in addressing climate change on a governmental policy level; 82% of our schools will be labeled as failing by the end of this school year. It is becoming apparent that Americans are simply too dumb to process complex information anymore; we are very good, though, at displaying our ignorance on racially-tinged placards

Re: Solar Flare, Super Moon, Climate Change Psychology
At the University of Miami, psychologist Arnold Lieber and his colleagues decided to test the old belief of full-moon “lunacy” which most scientists had written off as an old wives’ tale. The researchers collected data on homicide in Dade County (Miami) over a period of 15 years — 1,887 murders, to be exact. When they matched the incidence of homicide with the phases of the moon, they found, much to their surprise, that the two rose and fell together, almost infallibly, for the entire 15 years!

Re: Solar Flare, Super Moon, Climate Change Psychology
These are truly historic times in which we live! The earth, moon, Sun and stars seem to be speaking to us but of course we can not understand what message they are conveying. Over the course of centuries the human race has lost its' way and those who were able to read the messages from the heavens were persecuted and killed. Now we are really in trouble, there is no one to show us the way. We are left to our own devices, as meager as they are. The scientists can't help because they are just as lost as the rest of us. The regilious leaders aren't concerned with the welfare of their flock, but are mostly concerned with the size of the collection plate.
It is a sad destiny for most, as we near the end of that seventh day, the hands of the clock are almost on midnight.
But who knows when it could come. Within a blink of an eye the cities of antiquity were destroyed. Probably will be in our age also. The ancient cities of Mesopotamia, Persia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, etc. The conquering armies of Rome, who plundered and ravaged their way through the known world. The multitude at that time were able to escape to nearby and neighboring areas. But no more, there is no place to hide or escape.
Good luck.

I don't think that Americans in general are too stupid to grasp the reality here, they have just had too much bull-shit shoved down their collective throats. There are many who are just too stupid, or self absorbed to understand, but I give the general populace more credit than that. When you have "scientists" manipulating the data to support their position, you become sceptical of every thing they say. Personally, I believe crimate change is coming and there is not a damn thing we can do about it. It has to with the sun, not CO2. Things are going to get interesting for a couple of years, then we better be ready to see the flip side of this equation. We have enjoyed very temperate weather for as long as anyone can remember, but that is going to change soon. Don't throw away the the long handles just because it's warm now, you may need them in the near future.

Re: Solar Flare, Super Moon, Climate Change Psychology
I have to say, these behavioral "researchers" missed a few important issues when discussing the term "global warming" with Americans. They missed it because of their of ignorance of the issue of global warming.

Actually Americans were a lot wiser than were Europeans when we evaluating the claims of global warmists and their solutions. While Europeans were not exposed to the data that was contrary to "MAN MADE" global warming and the stupidity of the proposed solutions (giving algore and his pals a commmodies market which transfered wealth from the consumer to them and giving global and National socilaists a UN tax on energy use), Americans were not.

Americans knew details like global warming is occuring on other planets. They knew the climatologists were gaming science by the placement of their temperature measurement gages. They knew the hockey stick that kicked off the global watermelon's campaign was not accurate. They knew that the climate had changed in the past when the dinasours were not driving suv's. They looked at the "solutions" and saw Marxism at work based on false claims of science. Americans are used to socialists lying to get the centralized power they desire. Europeans fall for whatever the elite tell them if it is in the name of "science." The truth is, educated people lie like everyone else lies to get what they want.

So asking Americans is "global warming" is real, is a loaded question. Is Algore's global warming game real? No! Is the climate changing? Yes. Does the climate always change throughout history? Yes. Is the climate ever stagnant? No. Can humans control it? No. Is it on a cooling or warming swing right now? What is causing the changes we see on all the planets? Climatologists don't want to answer that question, do they? So's who is the stupid people here? Were the cilimatologists caught red handed cooking the science for their cause? Yes.

One final thing. It is the global warmists who hyped bad weather with climate change on the corporate news. In hot summers, Americans were grilled with Algore disaster fears. In snowy winter, they are grilled with global warming claims. So it is the "smart" people who insist there is a connection of daily weather with climate trends. Not the ordinary Americans.

Someone is dumb as a box of rocks here. It was the soft science "researchers" with, as usual, a political cause.
