Even though the USGS and other agencies have not yet issued tsunami warnings or watches for these areas as of this moment, the risk is great. Please take notice, make preparations and warn all friends and loved ones within the danger areas (near the coast).

Those in the Pacific islands and especially in Hawaii should expect to be hit within about six hours (around 0300 Hawaii time).
