probably not very far. Chernobyl style blowouts are nearly impossible now since they started designing reactors with protective casings for the event of a blowout. IMO gas possible but widespread contamination Chernobyl style not very likely.

Thats not lucky,, the radiation could carry accross the pacific to america, wake up and smell the coffee folks.
radioation does not just stop it does not just go away,, the radiation cloud is potentially a lot more deveastating than the tiny tusnami you had today on the east coast,, and it will carry on accross america then the atlantic to europe.
