Which book? 1, 2 or 3? any old testament apocryphons are good reads, and sadly they were eliminated because the Jewish leaders tried to prevent any writings where prophecies of Jesus were included. Any apocryphal book is acceptable in my opinion. the pseudopigraphicals.... that is another story. I tend to stick with the Bible only, but the book of Jude quotes the book of Enoch, so that gave it credibility as far as I'm concerned. I got alot out of book 1 and 2, but book 3 was hard to read for me. i am not an expert, but in my personal opinion, the apocryphals, outside of enoch 1 & 2, are in line with OT, but perhaps not God inspired. They remain testaments, however. |
