Quoting: ThePaleOne[link to www.tepco.co.jp] I watched the hourly press releases until i went to bed, now there is only a "Service Unavailable" message. Well... if it's hosted in Japan. The power's likely out - hence, a meltdown. If the power is out there are no Internets. |

Quoting: AlasBabylonI guess the other states aren't important they aren't on the map. . LOL...I agree. The east and west coasts think it's all about them. If it hits California...its going on to Kansas and on to the east coast. Not just stop at the west coast....geesh some people are dumber than a sack of hammers on here :) Exactly my point, west to east! We are all fucked! The fema coffins are for this exact matter.. leave the country, than return after this is over... if there is anything left to eat.. Fallout 3 in this bitch |

This isn't like a nuclear bomb.. A melt down is much worse for fallout... The jet stream will carry it straight over to the west coast.. I think the map is pretty legit... This isn't like a nuclear bomb.. A melt down is much worse for fallout... Still doubt it would do anything to the U.S. We are so fucking far away lol... Depleted uranium is found in N America today. DU that blew over from our spreading democracy in Iraq and Afghanistsan. Spreading democracy = spreading death. Though Japan's potential reactor meltdown(s) will make DU seem like something that is good for you. 'When Plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men, they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.' Frederic Bastiat, 'The Law' 1850 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes." JohnSwinton, 1830-1901, Former chief-of-staff New York Times ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "The bold effort the present bank has made to control the Government, the distress it has wantonly produced ... are but premonitions of the fate that awaits the American People should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution (The Bank of the United States), or the establishment of another like it." Order NOW to avoid the Xmas rush. Always figured NZ had the safest nuclear policy, even if it did get up the US administration's nose for many, many, many years. Sort of felt they treated some enemy states better than us who have for some stupid, stupid reason been supporting in all of the USA's conflicts. Love yourself, but serve others. |

This isn't like a nuclear bomb.. A melt down is much worse for fallout... The jet stream will carry it straight over to the west coast.. I think the map is pretty legit... why is it worse for fallout? I don't understand the difference. These readings are from inside the containment building. The stuff is not spewing into the atmosphere like it did at Chernobyl which didn't have a containment building. Remember...most of the deaths at Chernobyl were the workers who sacrificed themselves to encase the reactor in concrete. The containment building may be damaged and leaking radiation but it will most likely not cause the damage Chernobyl did. |
