I had a feeling this weekend would be bad over there so I bought some oil stock on Friday. Intervention seems inevitable at this point. |

I would not want to be in his shoes. His life is going to end and violently if he doesn't run off like a rat in the night. |

US says he will be removed by any means necessary. Does this mean war? I watched the press conference yesterday where Obama said leaving Gaddafi in power is not an option. Now that he has control of the country again, what is going to happen? Will the US really send forces into Libya to remove him? I know everyone is watching to ongoing DOOM in Japan, but this situation is looking pretty serious. Why do I feel like we are being set up for WW3? Quoting: 2012[link to www.newstalkzb.co.nz] Muammar Gaddafi's air force has struck at Libyan rebels as their leaders gained support from the Arab League, including a no-fly zone to help their battered fighters. Seif al-Islam, Gaddafi's son, told Italian newspapers he's confident government troops will defeat rebels, adding they have already retaken control over "90 per cent of the country". He swore there will be no negotiations with the rebels, calling them terrorists and saying there will be a "war to the end" Obummer vs Gaddafi ? I say Obummer lose. |

But Murbark the dictator was our good friend, abusing human rights, about 15,000 political prisoners,no freedoms of press, voting,on and on. And China, where human rights abuses don't interfere with trade, so says Hillary. The oil companies must want Gadhafi out, billions were recently invested there. Same old American way. |

UK would definitely join the US in an attack, don't think Italy would. This is a tough one, I think the US and UK would have to have struck a deal with Gadhafi's opposition about oil production, but who's Gadhafi's opposition? Right now the US and UK are on Gadhafi's shit list, with some Arab countries joining in. |

I love how in the same press conference, Obama says we are broke and that going to war is an option in Libya. How the fuck do you wage war when you are broke? I'm afraid that America's enemies realize that our empire is falling and they see the chance to "liberate" us from our tyrannical government. |

Enough American dollars for his oil reserves and immunity from prosecutio n will quickly send him and his family to graze in better pastures. Those expecting Gadhafi to release his holdings for little will be fighting a long war. |
