It may be far away from you, but it's right on the ocean. It's sitting on the beach. If it goes then LA, San Diego, and Orange County are ruined. So is the western Pacific coast down to Mexico.

Only one of the reactors is still in use. I used to drive by it and wonder why the birds were always sitting on one reactor and the other was untouched.

I live on the west coast so my fate is sealed unfortunately.

But for all those wishing doom on Cali...it will have far reaching effects, especially economically that will be felt in the entire country...or what is left.

The state of CA is the 9th largest economy in the world, even with high unemployment the tech industry is thriving. If the west coast is wiped out the us stock market will nosedive and it will be 100x worse than the events that triggered the initial crisis in 2008.

Doom in CA is doom for the entire US.
