I'm not a hardcore Christian, I don't go to church and I'm not hi-fiving buddies saying "praise Jesus," but these words start to take meaning where they were once obscure. Western civilization used Christianity to plunder and steal from 3rd world countries while the gold was sent back to kings and popes. Too bad they never bothered to follow what they preached, and now it's payback time.

There's dozens of interpretations to every line in the Bible, I choose to read it literally. Radiation goes into breast milk, just like it goes into cow's milk from eating polluted grass. Birth defects go up with radiation exposure. These have been trends that happened downwind of nuclear testing and from Chernobyl, medical statistics show this. The same is happening in Iraq and Afgansitan from DU exposure, and to soldier's children conceived after the wars. Children get leukemia and other diseases. Whatever differences Christians want to make about end times--it's not slated as a garden party.

I've always felt they had to do with either nuclear war or this type of scenario. There is also the aspect of more pollution on the earth than any time in history. It's no joke if your child is born autistic or deformed.

This is called the Generation of the fig tree , and this began when Israel was reestablished in 1948. Jesus tells us that not a generation will pass before his return after israel came home.
