I think it would be helpful to have the PREVIOUS readings along with the LAST readings.

This link was posted on another thread earlier today. At that time, Hawaii was showing a reading. It is now gone. That makes its credibility questionable in my mind. Just a thought.

And this all is definitely not Much Ado About Nothing... the USA has around 110 nuclear power plants and even more nuclear reactors. The sort of pubically accessable radio-metric monitor site that is seen in Japan is something that should have been put in place in the early 1950's and updated over time to be as great in number as at least the weather monitoring and reporting stations, like at every single airport. This sort of thing is in fact long long over due.

Yep!! We're a little ahead of you all in Pu-239 contamination :D

We are also a mile higher and closer to to cosmic gods (5000 feet here)... But these days, the normal radiation here is low... Oddly, we seem to have a concentration of folks with meters!! Our militia types :D

But we are very far inland too and on the east of the Rockies... If it can get to us, it will get to all of you too ;)

think it's the altitude. Background radiation is even higher, up in the mountains.

BTW, I lived in Aurora CO for 31 years, just downwind from Rocky Flats. I remember when they even used to burn radioactive contaminated waste there, and the emissions would blow all over the Denver area.
