Ho will it do that? The jet stream is tens of thousands of feet in the atmosphere. Unless there is a major explosion to get that material up there it won't.

Based upon the reported Cesium release in Japan, we should see some increase in background radiation in the United States. I doubt that California has to worry. The prevailing wind currents from that part of Japan would carry the particulate to the Washington state area.

It`ll be so brokedown by the time it gets here that I doubt it will be that big of deal..and of course it depends on how big of amount goes into the atmosphere..Just my opinion...
