Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yukio Edano, has said a partial defect has been found inside the containment vessel of reactor 3 at the Fukushima Daaich nuclear power plant, the Kyodo news agency reports. He has also said the reactor is "not necessarily in a stable condition". Early on Tuesday morning, officials said pressure inside the container had dropped and sea water was being pumped in to cool the fuel rods.

However, there has been no sharp rise in radiation levels at reactor 2, Mr Edano adds.

Tonight's development on Fukushima 2 plant is extremely worrisome, a leakage in the containment vessel, if confirmed, would mean that a nuclear fusion has been reached in the core. Thus the melting/magma has gone through the steel dome and out into the open air, this would then be a LEVEL 7 event, Chernobyl.

just seen a close up on the plant after the no3 went bang on the bbc,

where as no1 just the top blow off, no3 the whole side wall has gone, which means that the side of the reactor must be exposed to the outside,


thing is when they zoomed in, they zoomed in on no1, not 3,
why would they do that,

to be honest i dont think its that,
i think the reactor was cracked from before the blast or just after it,

i dont think its a full melt down as of yet,
but i think it will in time,

The more water they fire in the more the crack will open,
add in more aftershocks and to be honest its 1 sec from meltdown to be honest,

i think some people will be sent to there deaths to try and fix this,

about 10 days ago i awoke late in the night and vomited,i staggered to the bathroom and prayed on the toilet that i could release this odd gut lump or toxin, (not much came out, BUTT ahuge toxic flash overcame my entire body, never has that happened.
