Anonymous Coward User ID: 1253240 United States 03/14/2011 01:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	I HAVE A GEIGER COUNTER HERE IN MY LAB, PLEASE READ… I HAVE A GEIGER COUNTER HERE IN MY LAB, PLEASE READ… I work in a genetics lab and we have a Geiger counter here for because we use some rather mild radioactive isotopes for certain tests. However, the counter itself can pick up radiation for most ranges of human health and most importantly for background radiation. I am in Rhode Island so anyone on the west coast will suffer fallout before I could pick it up. For anyone in the north, we are right in line with the jet stream originating in Japan, so I would see pick up in background radiation as soon as it hit. Here is where I need your help, I need anyone with Geiger counter access to start checking in. I don’t want discussions about God or Bullshit. I know there is a link that monitors this, but they could very well shut that down or bs the data to prevent panic. I will start with updates, currently its ready perfectly normal background(which is obvious because nothing could have gotten here yet). We can create a plug on google maps for this. Lets save our asses GLP.

You being in New hampshire, it would reach you after the rest of the USA has already been exposed. So how do you think this is an early warning system? If I had a calibrated one I would help although I'm in NV. This is a good idea as we can't even trust radiation network.

I will admit that I am a gold member on a different name and love to doom normally. However, this is not a theory or a supposed leaked document, THIS IS 100% REAL. We know there are currently 3 reactors in serious trouble. I would venture that Japan is downplaying the risks big time and frankly they probably have to. Most of their transportation is down and telling millions of people that they are about to be killed by radiation wouldn’t do much because there is no where for anyone to go. Here is the US, however, we have several small advantages we can exploit in all the chaos. First, if it goes to complete meltdown, we will know. If it does, we will have some time to get the hell away from the jet stream. Southerners, your in pretty good shape on this front. “Logical doom analysis and level thinking could mean the difference or life or death in the coming weeks, I want to work with others to give myself and them our best chances if the worst case scenario occurs”
