It's completely logical, The Japanese have been huge buyers of the US Treasury bonds( along with the Saudis and the Chinese.)

Now that the Japanese will need to spend TRILLIONS of dollars in yen to rebuild after the triple tragedy of earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear nightmare, they will no longer be able to support the US by purchasing US Treasury bonds.

The US dollar will be further devalued as the FED is forced into another round of quantitative easing with the left hand,(FED), purchasing more Treasury bonds
( held in the right hand also by the FED ).

Shareholders will not remain confident in a grand ponzi scheme such as this.

Only gold, silver,their associated mining shares and other commodity producing companies will hold their value in the days ahead.
