Three Mile Island
The reactors in Japan now in their death throes
South Africa announcing they will shut down their two oceanside reactors
Germany announcing (reiterating) that the will shut down their 17 (19?) reactors
The reactors in the States that are built on or near faults like San Onofre, Indian Point, Callaway (fulton,MO) and other locations.
I think that they will be seriously looking at shutting the nuclear reactors down following Germany's lead. (Unless greed is the more overriding factor, and the US can tolerate nuclear meltdowns)
A few years ago I lived but a few miles from Three Mile Island and never regretted my permanent departure from that area.
I suspect that we will breathe a collective sigh of relief when (if) all this nuclear shit gets behind us. |

It is simply too lethal to work around.
Any energy source is preferable to one that is so volatile and deadly. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1296830Which proves he is not a good guy or he would get shelved patents released that would solve our energy problems. But the, he wouldn't get kick backs from the likes of GE, etc. |

No one has ever seen a perfect circle, nor a perfectly straight line, yet everyone knows what a circle and a straight line are. Perceived circles or lines are not exactly circular or straight, and true circles and lines could never be detected since by definition they are sets of infinitely small points. |

Its truly amazing. |
