CVS Online cancelled my IOSAT Potassium Iodide order

I ordered some from Amazon.com. I too, got an email today from Amazon telling me the item is out of stock and the order canceled.

I wonder if DHS is busy commandeering all of the available supplies of KI. Local CVS pharmacy indicated that they used to carry IOSAT at the stores near nuclear power plants, but they indicated that the health department took all of their supplies. Did not mention how long ago that was.

I had to learn from GLP that CVS cancelled my order too!

Maybe they are sending it to Japan. The need is immediate there.

Where I work we have completely sold out yesterday of all potassium iodide supplements. We do have some kelp supps left. I was trying to carefully tell my coworkers it would be best to prepare and buy some for their family. No one payed attention until yesterday when we had doctors and a meteorologist order them for in store pick up over the phone. That is what sent the employees into a flurry yesterday. I made an online amazon order Saturday a.m. as well. Hopefully that isn't canceled. If it is my family will have what it needs. I was buying extra for others. I really hope we don't need this. I have praying to our Father for a Holy Intervention.

Dunno, CVS confirmed my shipment Monday morning.

got Kelp pills, was told by employee that she was suprised there was still some left. I'm in the middle of the country, no-one there said anything, didn't want to talk about how much to take or anything, they avoided talking about it for the most part. very even-keeled with no opinions except for the first sentence.

There are other brands/powders available - have you done a search?

Yes, I am now trying from another supplier on Amazon.com, however, one thing I noticed today (that I did not see yesterday when I placed the order that was canceled) is that every seller of this now has a statement saying "Will be shipped in 6-10 days".

Interesting! I will post back if the new order gets canceled.

Honestly, your best bet is gonna be to call health food stores and pharmacies in random towns/cities. The only available stock is what is left on store shelves. East coast stores may be the best bet. I called a random store in Chicago yesterday and they in fact had one bottle. I bought from them over the phone and paid for 2nd day air. Should be here tomorrow. I'm in WA state.

I read here somewhere they can't deliver because the government has grasped all the stock, you are no longer allowed any!

ebay has a butload to sell, don't panic, just buy some and cheaply I might add

by the way, per the gov't own website even expired tablets are viable long after "experation" due to stability of compounds, so don't worry about buying old stuff, it's still viable accroding to the govt
