When will the 4th corner of the Ring of Fire go into action???

Although my thoughts and prayers go out to the Japanese people at this time, I can't help but wonder about the report from seismologists, that the west coast of North America could soon be in the same situation as Japan, with regards to the earth quake and tzunami damage. They report that 3 corners of the Ring of Fire have in the last months experienced major quakes, they are: Chile, Christ Church and Japan.. the 4th corner would be one of the faults along the North American West Coast. Is there anyone out there with knowledge about this? If so, I for one would be interested in learning about it.
