I was thinking earlier that if would be great if we had a way to funnel arctic water if not chunks of icebergs and pile them on the rods to keep them cool. We would need a pipeline that reached all the way to the North Pole.

Well the fleet is off the coast, lets just start bombarding the plant. Blow up enough and it will all just "float away" into the atmosphere... of course that raises other problems, but you cant win em all.

Well, they used to calm down volcanoes by tossing a virgin into them, so how bout suggestions on who might satisfy the reactors? They probably wouldn't have to be a virgin since a reactor isn't a volcano.

After some research (means I read wikipedia) on tungsten salts, they have lower melting and decomposition temperatures than I anticipated. Tungsten alloys are very dense and provide better shielding properties than lead.
Tungsten Carbide has a boiling point of 6000 degrees C.
