I looked at that plume in the linked article and I knew immediately that it wasn't water being dumped on the nuclear reactor.

It was too high up to be an effective quencher of the nuclear plant. You have to get down low with massive quantities of water and drench it. The actual hot spot is only about 10x10 feet square.

They used forced circulating motor oil to cool their reactor; it is the worst design that I have ever seen. It was so hot that when the pipe cracked due to sudden cooling when the tsunmi hit the pipes, the oil ignited in the air and caused a release of H2 gases that collect in the oil due to proton tunneling from the reactor core. It was probably under high pressure due the hydrogen collection over the last 20-30 years and the oil was in excess of its boiling point.

Motor oil can exceed 600 degrees F without deterioration of you find the right oil. But it instantly flash into flame on contact air water and rain. Its an unstoppable explosive. You might remember the Myth busters episode where they tried to put out boiling oil with water and it exploded even worse.

I can't imagine what the Japanese engineers were thinking when they designed it. It obviously didn't have a concrete containment dome like all American designs. I am sorry, but the Japanese are not the best engineers in the world. I think the Americans have many more damn good enough engineers to design a righteous nuclear power plant. I think AEC requires a concrete containment dome for all US nuclear reactors because of potential disasters like this that could have been anticpated.

Concrete containtment domes are typicallly 3 to 6 feet thick and about 50 to 100 yards in diameter. And they are required to test their concrete for slump before they pour it. Remarkable Civil Engineers actually test it with a little polyethyene measuring cu pabout 2 liters. They turn it upside down on any flat surface and use a little plastic ruler or their bare eyes and fingers to test it.

By the way, I sent angel named Amanda to find out where that plume was and what it was composed of. I said stick your head into the plume and taste it. It probably won't hurt you. She a tiny windows handheld computer with a gps system and a popularly avaliable global mapping system to find out where it was.

So the EU man was right it would have taken many hours and there would have been somewhat large dumping of nuclear fallout somewhere in midwestern USA. And it would have been a nuclear disaster. Maybe 1000 people would have died from flash damamge and fallout poisoning.

Don't worry. It would have been ignored by our carppy US news media. Or it would have been covered up by the president's determined people. Its remarkably evil and easy to ignore the deaths of 1000's and perhaps millions of Americans.

Did you know that all police officers are given ulimited right to kill indiscriminately. They often kill dozens of people on their first day. Their bodies are picked up by anybody in the local police department and they pay the local mortuary to quietly incinerate the bodies. Then they threaten the families of the boys and little 14 year old girl and mommas and papas that died with death if they tell anybody.

They probably drown their pillows in tears for 9 weeks, and then promise themselves to revenge them. Do they do it? How do I know?
