Apophis(Enemy of RA) - December 21, 2012

I think NASA even did an article or something about how they're tracking this...they're not ignoring it, I don't think.

Watch the video, yes NASA is tracking it and said it could impact earth on Friday 13th, 2029 and if it misses us and passes through the keyhole, it will hit us in 2036..

And it is named after Atep, the enemy of RA..RA was the Egyptian sun god...Kinich Ahau is the Mayan sun god...

But, what a coincidence, it is on our orbital line on every huge quake..

And it will be again a few more times....But on 12/21/2012, it is very close to us and directly on our orbital line...

The Mayan calender makes total sense if you look at it that way...

The end of the 13th baktun...The sun god in the middle of the calender...Apophis (enemy of Ra) will do this on exactly 12/21/2012

Astronomers continue to monitor asteroid Apophis

Asteroid Apophis continues to be an object of interest for astronomers. Even though the possibility of an Earth impact by the now-famous asteroid has been ruled out during its upcoming close encounter on April 13, 2029, this close flyby will significantly change Apophis’s orbit, and astronomers are uncertain how that could affect future encounters with our planet For that reason, astronomers have been eager to obtain new data to further refine the details of the 2029 encounter. However, for three years, the asteroid’s orbit had it “hiding” behind the Sun, but it has now emerged. This newest image of Apophis was taken on January 31, 2011, using the University of Hawaii’s 2.2-meter telescope on Mauna Kea, and astronomers from UH at Manoa say they will make repeated observations of this potentially dangerous near-Earth asteroid.

Apophis is the name of a mythical Egyptian entity described as an ‘anti-god’ who takes the form of a serpent. (Sound familiar?) He is the enemy of Ra, the sun-god, and seeks to prevent his daily rebirth at dawn.

Just in case, Apophis is being closely watched by astronomers and it was announced on March 11 that the asteroid has come out of its 3 year long sojourn spent hidden behind the sun.

The descent of light and shadow on the Pyramid of Kukulcán is an annual reminder of the sun-Pleiades-zenith conjunction that occurs during a seasonal window of 72 years, (1976 - 2048) over Chichén Itzá. In the middle of this seasonal window is 2012, when the Great Cycle ends. The passage of the zenith will combine with two solar eclipses, the first on May 20, 2012. This day on the Tzolkin is 10 Chicchan, which means "serpent”. The second is on November 13. The winter solstice end-point will be 4 Ahau in the Tzolkin calendar, meaning Lord/Sun, and 3 Kankin in the Haab calendar, which means ‘snake-day’.

The tangible, visible significance of this pyramid is widely known: every equinox thousands of people flock to Chichén to see the shadow-serpent appear the slide down the steps of the north balustrade. This aspect of the equinox is not all that happens here. In fact, as wonderful and awe-inspiring as it is considered to be, the real significance of the pyramid of Chichén Itzá makes this seems superficial.

Apep (Apepi, Aapep, Apophis) was a demon of the underworld, in the form of a giant water snake. It was believed that he was created when Nit spat into the primeval waters of Nun. He was the enemy of the sun god, trying to stop him as he travelled on his barque through the underworld each night. He was so powerful that little could defeat him, and even then, he was back again the following evening to threaten Ra. He was a demon outside of ma'at, the opposite of order, a demon of darkness and chaos.

Apep (Aphopis) was the ancient Egyptian spirit of evil, darkness and destruction who threatened to destroy the sun god Ra as he travelled though the underworld (or sky) at night. Originally Set and Mehen (the serpent headed man) who were given the job of defending Ra and his solar barge. They would cut a hole in the belly of the snake to allow Ra to escape his clutches. If they failed, the world would be plunged into darkness. However, Apophis was sometimes equated with Set, as the god of chaos. In this case a variety of major and minor gods and goddesses (including Isis, Neith, Selkit, Geb, Aker and the followers of Horus) protected Ra from this all consuming evil. The dead themselves (in the form of the god Shu) could fight Apep to help maintain Maat (order).

Russian space probe may save Earth from asteroid

Russian experts have said a space mission should be sent in 2012 to the Apophis asteroid to establish whether it will collide with Earth, adding that the Russian Phobos-Grunt spacecraft could be used for that purpose.

A report at a Moscow scientific conference said 99942 Apophis, or Asteroid 2004 MN4, with a diameter of 350m, is the biggest space threat to Earth.

In 2029, this near-Earth object will be at a distance of only 36,000 km (22,400 miles) - closer than satellites in geostationary orbit. Earth's gravity could change the orbit of Apophis in such a way that it would collide with Earth on its next approach in 2036.

If you look, The exact same place in Japan had an earthquake on March 11, 2011, they had one on July 19, 2008

Both dates, Apophis was exactly on the orbital plane....

So by this, we should be able to predict an earthquake on or near July 29, 2011

On April 13, 2029, Apophis will come closer to our planet than the orbits of many communications satellites, researchers said. It should even be briefly visible to the naked eye as a faint, star-like object streaking through the sky – weather and time of day permitting.

The close pass will likely change Apophis' orbit substantially, perhaps increasing the odds of a collision later this century, researchers said. That's why astronomers are keeping tabs on Apophis and gathering as much information as possible about its orbit.
