I just love the fact that they just stated this on our news, which we know isn't all about openness and honesty as far as how bad things are/can be.

And just so you know, hardly anyone in Japan believes the local media any more. The government betrayed its people from time to time. That's what history taught us. We are painfully aware of that.

But it is our responsibility too that those people in Fukushima are suffering. The power plants are built to meet the electricity demand of Tokyo and its neighboring areas, not that of locals.

We dispise the corporate fat cats and government officials whose neglegence and slow decision making brought about shis disaster.

We have nothing but respect toward those soldiers, fire fighters and subcontractors who are risking their lives.

I wish I had the kind of skills that could help those who are fighting right now.
