Blown reactors, wires exposed, controls damaged, everything saturated in water - then turn on the power!

i was thinking along the same line...... i looked at those pictures and thought .. WTF are they going to plug in,, wow

Saturated in saltwater...

Unless they live near the coast most people probably have no idea the damage salt water can do in hours, let alone days.

I did the same thing ya'll are doing...got it backwards at first. They aren't trying to re-start the reactor...they're bringing in NEW power lines to run generators to power the pumps...so they can move the people away. Hopefully, they'll have enough sense to use new generators/new wiring on the generators. The stories aren't clear at all.
