no im actually not a dumbass and have trained myself to survive unlike yourself. before all the doom i had already planed my Appalachian trail hiking trip. gonna be doing some hard meditation in the mountains for 5-6months and if it is doom survive as best i can out there. ill be happily doing this while your siting alone in your little bunker still angry and pointing the finger at everyone but yourself.

The great majority of hippies were attracted to the lifestyle of "what's yours is mine."
Lazy, inconsiderate and self-absorbed.
If by purpose or chance they went into the material world and had some access to money they were still selfish and cheap and usually lived on a meger scale and remained "what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine".
Then we have the hippies who became the Yuppies and Super Yuppies,
Ben and Jerry are a good example of Hippies into Yuppies made big,and even they sold their Ice Cream Empire to corporate America

I am excluding all those courageous ones who fought for Civil Rights and equality for all.
Many of the war protesters protested because they didn't want to Vietnam, and rightfully so, but there was a personal agenda involved.
We moved to a NE town 20 yrs ago that has lots of old Hippies,and there's also the new generation of them and sadly they're not much different.
There are wonderful aware young people in the area, very much into self sufficient life style and locovore.
