Japan, yes big economy, but look at the big picture and who stands to gain what if the problem ends. The land there will never be usefull again, meaning most of Northern Japan, unless of course you are some kind of Mad Max Freak. It's over for them, and yes it is sad. Yes it is very sad. Let's review your "nuke the plant theory": 1. Nukes release radiation. Radiation bad. 2. Nuking the plant will release all of the radioactive materials up into the atmosphere. More radiation pollution is very bad. 3. Unless there is a giant vacuum that will catch all of the radioactive particles and send them to an underground vault, these will be spread far and wide around the globe. Personally, I don't want anything to do with breathing or eating toxic radioactive particles--don't think many people will. 4. Blowing it up with a nuke exascerbates the problem far worse. 5. The nuke theory is completely delusional. This is an internet wet dream--that a nuke will somehow solve a problem.
