Gods Law: The Commandments
God calls for us to Fear Him, be Obedient to Him, have faith in Him and Love Him with all our hearts

Exodus 20:20
“Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”

Exodus 16:28
And the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-15
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

What are most Churches teaching today? Does is align with what the Word of God is trying to tell us?

Malachi 2:7-9
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

Psalms 119:126
It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law.

1 John 2:4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3:4-11
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Psalm 119:44
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

Psalm 119:111
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
(In Hebrew eduwth means New Commandment or testimonies)

Psalms 119:136
Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

Psalm 119:165-166
165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
166 Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
Matthew 5:17-18
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 7:6-13
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

“The New Testament books of Romans and Galatians make it clear that we are not justified by the law, and that we are not “under the law”, so keeping all the Commandments is not necessary or in our nature.”

Romans 6:15
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

1 John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Romans 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

James 2:10-11
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point , he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Revelations 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelations 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Exodus 20:2-17

2 I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;
3 Do not have any other gods before me.

4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me,

6 but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

8 Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.

9 For six days you shall labour and do all your work.

10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns.

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.

12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

13 You shall not kill/murder.

14 You shall not commit adultery.

15 You shall not steal.

16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17 You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
It's mind control. All of it. It mixes in good common sense "moral values" like "thou shall not kill" to bait you in to give the illusion of legitimacy. I don't trust any of this mystical "from god himself" nonsense. Slick mind control is all it is. My gut feeling is telling me loud and clear that it's deception.

According to the book of revelation they do.

1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jo 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jo 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1Jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
2Jo 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 22:14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Sin (transgression from the Law) brings all sorts of unexpected consequences. I pray we can remember we are saved by grace but then need to be obedient of His teachings. All things are possible thru Christ Jesus.

Repent and trust in God. We have a difficult road ahead people and I want to see you (the readers) rejoicing in heaven and the new earth after this mess is over.

God Bless you as well.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
Everything the scriptures say is real and mostofusknow this, whether or not we admit it. We only have two options:

1. Believe that a loving and righteous creator created the heavens and the earth andall that isin it.......or

2. That we all came from monkeys

YOU CHOOSE!

If YOU choose that you are from a monkey, then there is nothing to gain right? I mean you just exist to exist like an animal does.... you live, breed, grow old, die and there is no hope of anything after that. Your spirit just laysin the ground that you were buried in.

I almost forgot the other option:
That wonderful aliens are theones that made you,and all throughout time they have been mixing, breeding us up, beaming us up, you name it, trying to make a better human being, etc.

Now,for those of you insinuating that people who believe in the scriptures are living an illusion.............PLEASE people! What does that say for you?

The whole theme of the scriptures was to let man know that something spectacular happened thousands of years ago and that this life that we hold dear is nothing more than idolatry!

There is so much that many of you are not aware of. This system is not "In God wwe trust"! Do you even know that what the word means????? Do you know how many gods there are, whether it is capitalized or not, it means the same!

There is but ONE TRUE creator and His name is not godor LORD(Lord), it is Yahweh or Yashua. He is the that humbled Himself in our form and came down in the flesh to die the death that He did, so that we could have life eternal.

I'm not even talking about Jesus either for you christians! If you bother checking it out, there is no Jesus in hebrew, neither is there even a J in the word. In the bible, Yahweh's name has been replaced over 6,000 times with Jesus (which is actually a greek form of zeus)LORD, Lord,God. Do some research brothers and sisters! Weirdisn't it that Satan's name has remained the same and has never changed! What have we been believing and what have we done???

Most christians, including myself, before Yahweh showed me differently, have been practicing pagan sun worship that started way back with Nimrod and is prevalent today! All the holidays and months are named after pagan gods and deities. The bible mentions that even the elect will be deceived and it is so! Think about what can YOU do if YOU don't have a social security NUMBER????? Can you find work to buy food and drink easily???? Birth certificates....why are they all recorded at the state department of commerce??? Do you even know what that means??

Do you REALLY believe you actually own something?? You don't........if you have to pay someone money for something YOU think belongs to you......guess what, YOU DON'T OWN IT!Your cars, houses,etc....and it you want to enjoy life get ready to get licenses for everything. A license is begging for permission.

These are only a few reasons why the christian church is so weak and dying! Why we do not see Yahweh working like we should......He has not changed, we have!

The ten commandments are not being followed any longer....especially keeping the sabbath. There is NOT one verse that says Yahweh did away with the sabbath. This day was set forth during creation.

I wish I had more time to explain more clearly, instead of having to rush it like this, but I don't! Just search out these things for yourself.

Take care.

p.s.-my keyboard skips sometimes,so please forgive it some of my words are stuck together!

If the Law didn't still stand then there would be no need for forgiveness because there would be no standard to expose sin. Christ died to forgive us and to deliver us from our sin. This is the new convenient, Jesus is our hope, peace and deliverance.

God has all the laws of nature, interaction of atoms etc, laws of physics and law of how people have to behave to build a successful enduring cilvization. Man continues to NOT follow those, nor the laws of nature and science and continues to kill off the planet and himself. To the poster above with the shill sign I forgot to use the quote feature. If you ignore the laws you will build karma you will have to resolve before you can enter the higher realms, I suggest unless you just love enjoying your eternal life on low grade worlds, you grow up.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
the law could never save us so Jesus died for our sins.

those who would require one law be kept are obligated to keep them all.

similarly, breaking one law is equivalent to breaking them all.

looking on a woman with lust = adultery hating someone without cause = murder. both capital offenses.

we are no longer under the law but under grace. God's commandment is that we live Him, and others as ourselves. and that we believe in Jesus Christ -- that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead to provide all who believe in Him the free gift of eternal life ;-)

this is the gospel by which we are saved. when we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths Jesus is Lord, we are saved. everyone who calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved ;-)

this is a position, not s performance. we cannot attain earn nor maintain salvation. it is the free gift of God. we are not saved by how we behave, but by how we BELIEVE. without faith it is impossible to please God.

the implication in these legalistic threads is that the poster believes they are actually following the law correctly, and no one else is. put a group of legalists together they will not agree on how to follow the law. no one has ever followed the law -/ all like sheep have gone astray. there is none righteous no not one. all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

the only way any of us can possibly be redeemed is by the Blood of Jesus Christ -- though our sins be as scarlet, they shall be rendered white as snow ;-) we serve and obey Him not from compulsion, but our of gratitude for what He has done for us!

each Christian has their own conscience to deal with as we deal with life, temptstion, the world, chastening, the Holy Spirit's conviction, and pruning. we can do the loving and let God do the judging. He doesn't need our help there ;-)

love ye one another!!

and trust in the Lord with all your heart all your mind all your soul and all your strength -- He makes straight our paths ;-)

there is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. we are sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee the moment we believe Jesus died for our sins and rose to provide us the free gift of eternal life. yielding in obedience to the Holy Spirit after regeneration produces rewards in heaven and manifests fruits on earth. ;-)

we are known by our fruits he chief of which are

love peace and joy!

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
God has all the laws of nature, interaction of atoms etc, laws of physics and law of how people have to behave to build a successful enduring cilvization. Man continues to NOT follow those, nor the laws of nature and science and continues to kill off the planet and himself. To the poster above with the shill sign I forgot to use the quote feature. If you ignore the laws you will build karma you will have to resolve before you can enter the higher realms, I suggest unless you just love enjoying your eternal life on low grade worlds, you grow up.

AMEN and AMEN

.

The Heavens and the Earth Shall Pass Away, Recreated Anew. The Law Stands Forever, Unchanged and Unchangeable. Neither Has God Blessed Any Other Day, The Seventh Has He Blessed...Keep It Holy.

3/29/06 From God The Father - A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Thus says The Lord your God: You shall not desecrate My Sabbaths, nor the seventh day of the week, which I have commanded you to remember!

Thus says The Lord...

As I had spoken it to Moses, so shall it be done...
As I had spoken it before the congregation, so shall it be done...

Yea, with the blowing of the great trumpet,
With lightnings and thunderings, had I spoken it upon Mount Sinai...

In the presence of the tribes of Israel,
And before the holy angels, did I trumpet My Law.

The Lord your God had written it, with His own hand...
Yea, by My own finger was it engravened and given to My people...

Behold I, even I, have written it upon the hearts of the penitent,
By the power of My own Spirit.

For The Son of Man came to redeem you from your sins, from your transgression of that burned into the stone of the Everlasting Covenant, by which man shall live... Of which none have kept... By which they shall surely die.
Lo, a New Covenant have I sent to you, in Christ Jesus, to save you from the penalty of that which you have forsaken. Has then your Christ died, whereby The Law has also died?... Not so!... Shall you crucify your Savior, again and again, putting Him to an open shame?!... NO!... You shall live because of Him, and by that which He upholds and has magnified in Himself!... Being the only One who is without sin, having kept every tittle of The Law.

For it is written, as The Lord Christ had spoken it,
“It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one tittle of The Law to fail”...

For the spirit of The Law is shown in His vesture...

He, being the same One who taught you The Law anew,
By His example and by His every word and deed...

For The Law is fulfilled in Christ, The Messiah...
Indeed, He is the goal at which the Torah (Law) aims.

He is The Lord of The Law, also being The Lord of the Sabbath.

So then, if He is The Lord of the Sabbath, having obeyed every command of The Father, why do you not follow Him? You say you follow Him and honor Me... Verily, I say to you, you shall all be found liars in the Day of Reckoning. For every word spoken by God, and His Son, stands forever... Without any variableness or shadow of turning.

Oh church of adulteries, how We mourn for you... You have been judged, and shall be left utterly desolate in the Day of The Lord’s wrath. You say you speak for Me, and have Christ’s authority. You have trampled upon the grave of The Resurrected One, making His sacrifice of non-effect!... Woe to those who blaspheme the Spirit!
Your whoredoms are piled to Heaven! Every Law you have broken!... Even to this day, do you embrace all the sins I hate! In all you do, do you crucify The Son of Salvation, again and again!... Denying His name by all your deeds, you call mighty and true...

Oh unholy church of men, mother of all fornications and lies,
Your destruction comes nigh!...

You have become Egypt!...

Let My people go!

Stop desecrating My Sabbaths, cease from your heresies, hold your tongue from your blasphemies!... And repent!... And I may yet have mercy on you. Saturday is the seventh day and the Shabbat (Sabbath), which I have ordained from the beginning!

The Holy One comes quickly, and will take from you His own...

He shall snatch them from your very breast...

NO MORE shall My children receive nourishment from you!...

NO MORE shall they sit in your deceptions!

And Judgment shall sit...

Yet anyone, who calls on the name of The Lord in that Day, shall be saved.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments

12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

The light is taken from you!... You are left alone, estranged by your false doctrines. Your fate lies with him who is coming, who shall lead many into perdition and death. You shall bear him a son, a man who bears the number of his name, his prophet. You will not be alone when desolations come... You and your enemy, Ishmael, shall be destroyed, along with the father that bore you both, the father of lies. And so shall it be done... Even so, amen.

12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Romans 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
God calls for us to Fear Him, be Obedient to Him, have faith in Him and Love Him with all our hearts

The Mighty and Strong One shall return!...

And great recompense shall fall hard upon the nations!...

Behold, He shall come in all His glory!...

And Judgment shall sit...

Yet anyone, who calls on the name of The Lord in that Day, shall be saved.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
His Law is Eternal and it condemns us because we are all law-breakers and sinners. His Son YAHSHUA fulfills the law both from the foreshadowing aspect of His sacrifice for sin and also by His complete obedience to the law.

This is key to understanding all of Scripture. The law was a promise between Father and Son. i can provide many verses to demonstrate this if anyone is sincerely interested.

The Father promised the Son that if He obeyed the law that death would have no claim on Him and that He would live even if He died...

And ye shall observe My statutes and My judgments, by which the Man that doeth them shall live: I am YHVH. Lev 18:5 this verse is restated 3 times in Ezekiel 20. Galatians also refers to it. most english translations use an unfortunate word choice that hides the real meaning. it is a promise of life to any MAN Who obeys the law. That MAN is YAHSHUA. PSALM 119 is YAHSHUA's prayer to His Father praising Him for His law since it was the Son's path to Life even though He layed down His life for our sins. in Psalm 119 the Son promises on oath to obey the law and asks His Father over and over to raise/revive Him back to life because of His obedience to the law. again detailed verses can be provided if there is genuine interest.

promises are not for us since we are promise breakers and law breakers and sinners. That is also why YAHSHUA told us never to take oaths in His sermon on the mount.

The Son was obedient in all things concerning the law yet He was killed taking our sins upon Himself and bearing the curse of the law which is death as explained in Romans and especially Galatians as well as other letters.

So to sum up. we are under the curse of the law which is death because we are law breakers. The law was given by the Father to point to His Son and as His Son's path to life. The Son fully obeyed the law and fulfills the feasts, ceremonies and sacrifices that point to Him. the Father raised His Son from the dead as promised because the Son kept the law as promised in PS 119. YAHSHUA was obedient in all things even laying down His life for others who hated Him which is the greatest act of Love and fulfillment of the requirements of the law possible.

It was the Father's love for His children that sent His Son to the Cross. It was YAHSHUA's obedience to His Father that He was willing to die for man's sins. that is also why the Son should be feared because He will not hesitate to destroy His enemies when His Father says it is time. YAHSHUA is always obedient to His Father as He proved on the cross.

believers in YAHSHUA are saved by faith in His shed blood for their sins. that does not make them lawless. believers are under the law of love and given His Spirit to work this love in their hearts. YAHSHUA's law is that we love one another which also sums up the essence of the commandments as He stated in His teachings.

The Mighty and Strong One shall return!...

And great recompense shall fall hard upon the nations!...

Behold, He shall come in all His glory!...

And Judgment shall sit...

Yet anyone, who calls on the name of The Lord in that Day, shall be saved.

Re: Gods Law: The Commandments
I believe that all the law was summed up in this...DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU!!!! This satisfies all the requirements. You would not lie, cheat steal, kill, if you truly did not want this to be done to you. But unfortunatley this would put an awful lot of people out of work. There would be no need for police, lawyers, courts. I could live with that!
