Yes I have many. I spent a lifetime devising these methods. I will reveal them here from time to time. Try the one I just mentioned. Usually the perpetrator will immediately stop yelling at you and run to the restroom to check. |

If you think it may lose you your job, just bear through it and leave it on their desk or mail. This also works with breath mints in place of the Mydol. Probably best to do it anonymously for the greater good as your co-workers would appreciate it. |

Unless you have a totally psycho look and tone in your voice You WILL get us ass handed to ya. Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. Unless you have a totally psycho look and tone in your voice You WILL get us ass handed to ya. 2x state champion wrestler helps i guess, I once ran a Jet Ski rental shop in Laughlin, NV and we had Ray Lewis from the Baltimore Ravens come in with his crew. He jumped into a Sea-Doo boat out of the water on a trailer and started it up and revved the engine to about 9,000rpm and blew it up in 15 seconds. Me being the manager had to inform him that he owed us about 12,000$ for the damages, this made him upset. (BTW this guy is the dumbest n---er on the planet, I use that word with caution, but he was) We had him and his crew in the office, and I radioed my beach crew to grab some sort of weapons and hide in the back room and make sure I didn't get the shit kicked out of me. So me at 19yrs old, I was surrounded by some of the biggest motherfuckers you have ever seen screaming at me refusing to pay for the damages. I looked right at Ray Lewis and said "hit me in the face so I can defend myself" he looked shocked to say the least, and then called me a fucking idiot threw his Credit Card at one of his crew and told him to pay for the damages and left the office. I shit my pants, I have never been so scared, even though when I went into the back room and saw my beach crew (7 guys) and they were holding wrenches, drive shafts, you name it I felt very lucky to still have my beautiful face. Haha. Once you tell Ray Lewis to punch you, nothing else seems that scary. THINK ABOUT THIS! The universe created life to be observed, without an observer, it never existed. It’s okay to speak directly to me. Verbal Affront (snide remarks, lack of openness) The individuals I learn the most from are clearer in their directions and feedback. Is there some way we can structure this type of situation? Undermining Activities (unavailable, turning away) When something happens that is “different” or “contrary“ to what I understood, it leaves me with questions. Help me to understand how this situation may have happened. Withholding Information (practice or patient) It is my understanding that there was (is) more information available regarding the situation, and I believe if I had known that (more), it would (will) affect how I learn. Sabotage (deliberately setting up negative situation) There is more to this situation than meets the eye. Could you and I meet in private and explore what happened. Infighting (bickering with peers) Always avoid unprofessional discussions in nonprivate places. This is not the time or the place. Please stop (physically walk away or move to a neutral spot). Scapegoating (attributing all that goes wrong to one individual) I don’t think that’s the right connection. Backstabbing (complaining to others about someone instead of talking to him/her) I don’t feel right talking about him/her/the situation when I wasn’t there or don’t know the facts. Have you spoken to him/her? Failure to respect privacy It bothers me to talk about this without his/her permission. I only overheard that. It shouldn’t be repeated Broken Confidences Wasn’t that said in confidence? That sounds like information that should remain confidential. He/she asked me to keep that confidential |
