It's like that here in the states too. I was reading statistics from a few years ago that said in the united states more than 35,000 white women were raped by black men, while during that same year less than 10 black women were raped by white men.

To many people believe what the watch on tv now days. It wasn't unheard of for white indentured servants to marry black slaves who they worked with every day.
