Earthquake Clouds Portland OR

You should get pictures of them.

Illuminated by the super moon?

WHich is beautiful & bright white here in TX BTW.

I tried to almost impossible to get them at night with a crappy point and shoot. I did pull my GF out of bed to look at them. Then showed her some google images of previous ones. She freaked a little. Everyone in PTown is on edge right now.

haven't even left my house because of the flu, I didn't see anything. :(

You know... a poor quality picture is better than no picture... How about someone from Oregon step up and actually snap a pic. Upload it a site like imagr.com or something...

It is abnormally clear here tonight. Walked outside to look at the moon and saw them. Literally 15 minutes later they completely dissipated, and it was a clear night sky.

I'm in portland and I'm not "on edge" don't speak for everyone please.

They look like normal ass clouds to me, stop reading so much of this shit. Besides we all know that it is california that is gonna get boned so you have nothing to worry about.

They filled the sky like that then disappeared.

I'm here, I was just outside having a smoke, and there are definitely strange clouds diffusing the super moon. I chocked it up to chemtrails, but considering the predictions, as well as the probability of the cascadia rupturing in the next 50 yrs. being bumped up to 80% from 35%. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of earthquake clouds, 'makes sense. But good god, if that happened right now, leaving thousands without shelter, just before the jetstream moves north and into oregon again. talk about compounding doom...
I'm ready though, have been mentally as well as resourcefully preparing myself for months now, ever since the chile quake.

been in and out all night and didnt see any clouds like that..I live near the new seasons near clinton.

Uh oh, now we got "cloudtards"! We are a little south from OP and had to go out and check it out. We have a light radiation hue surrounding the big bad moon currently :0

A little on edge here too! Nothing like trying to enjoy a killer moon and worrying about getting fried by radiation while stressing that all our supplies will get smashed in an EQ!!

I saw some like this tonight in L.A. weird.

FWIW I saw these exact same looking cloud formations ALL OVER the sky on Thursday afternoon, March 17 while I was at the park with my kids. Our location aprox 20 miles south of San Francisco. I thought I was safe because there wasn't an EQ that evening but now I have read that the clouds can appear weeks before the EQ. Great.

This is stupid, where did you get the "EQ clouds" idea? clouds can have extrange formations like this [link to apod.nasa.gov] and doesn´t mean the end of the world.

I've looked at the pictures.. I've heard of "earthquake clouds" before.. I do believe there is something to it

problem is, between living in new england most of my life, then florida for a good portion, what I'm seeing in the pictures linked is completely normal in my experience

I wouldn't worry because of the clouds.. I would worry because of the quake window, increasing tension along the faults, etc, but the clouds don't look like anything special to me

that said, I realize OP didn't get decent shots of the clouds, so hard to tell if there is anything odd with them from the pics...

COASTAL DOOM!!!!... 9.0+ EQ hits, freshly irradiated 35' tsunami waves repeatedly come ripping through your hometown reducing it to mere driftwood in a matter of minutes.

At best, you find yourself stranded on high ground with family and friends, with no place to seek refuge, and a rain system churning buckets of hot liquid fallout comes rolling in pissing the most oxic substances on earth from over the pacific.

a perfect storm...

. and then the goonies show up or something... with a pirate ship and a mutated nephalim with a heart of gold, and steer you to safety at a school where arnold schwarzenegger is an under cover cop that teaches kindergarten... and you sleep there for a while or whatever... and then you just eventually die anyway from being soaked in nuclear rainwater...

really glad I never picked up surfing, or coastal activities at all for that matter..
