Dates to Watch

There are so many dramatic and dangerous stories unfolding that I thought I would lay out some dates to watch when the action is likely to spike. Of most concern at the moment are events in Japan, where faltering attempts are being made to curtail the radiation now seeping into the atmosphere from a tsunami-damaged nuclear power plant. In addition, the rebellion in Libya and the various uprisings in the Middle East are currently in the process of being brutally crushed by their governments. As of this writing, the UN has voted to create a no-fly zone in order to thwart Moamar Gadafi’s destruction of his own people. Given the planetary forecast, things are likely to get worse before they get better. (All times given below are for the Eastern Daylight Time (EDT); Japan is half a day later; North Africa and the Middle East are six to seven hours later.)
Afternoon, Saturday, March 19, through 4:45 PM EDT: The Moon is opposite Uranus. This suggests some unexpected and perhaps upsetting events that agitate existing circumstances.
8 AM EDT Sunday, March 20, through 9 AM EDT, Monday, March 21: The Sun is conjunct Uranus. Expect big, dramatic, and explosive events that transform the existing situations irreversibly. Given what is going on in Japan, this is a very dangerous aspect. It also signals some potentially very violent action on the Libyan front that moves the conflict to a new level.
March 21 through March 23: Mars opposite President Obama’s Mars, activating Obama progressed Moon opposite Mars; March 23 through March 25: Mercury quincunx Obama Mars activating Obama progressed Moon opposite Mars. President Obama will be quite aggressive during this period, perhaps related to the escalation of force against Moamar Gadafi and/or an increase in American involvement in the Japanese nuclear disaster.
March 20 through March 24: Jupiter square US Sun. This suggests Americans will band together and be particularly supportive and proud of their country for a few days, possibly related to some American intervention that is helpful to Japan or in support of a successful military action in Libya.
March 29 through April 11: Saturn square US Sun, second crossing. This indicates a period of very stressful events for the US, daunting frustrations, and possible national grief or loss, potentially related to significant casualties during the Libyan action or as a result of some other violent, unexpected event.
March 27 through March 31: Mercury station square US Mercury. This points to a slow down or a shut down for a few days of some area/areas of the transportation, trade, or communications sector.
April 1 through April 4: Mars conjunct Uranus. This indicates an extremely dangerous time with likely explosive, violent events in several locations. Severe weather or natural events are also possible. Given that it comes during the above-mentioned Saturn square to US Sun, it is likely to result in US casualties.
March 26 through April 14: Uranus square President Obama’s Venus, possibly conjunct US IC (using Sagittarius rising chart); March 20 through April 10: Uranus opposite Ascendant and square MC in the Spring Equinox chart drawn for Washington, DC. The President and the country will experience a series of extremely stressful, fast-paced events that are sudden, unexpected, transformative, and powerful. Some section of the US population will be directly impacted. Much of the acute stress will lift by mid-April.
