Ever Read an Interesting Post...and then it...derails?

I mention this because it happens frequently here and on other forums. Here's what I mean:

You see a post that sounds really interesting..let's say a post about a UFO sighting....sounds good.

You keep reading and everything is sounding legit and credible. The 1st paragraph really pulls you in with great details...maybe even a video that looks impressive...you're beginning to think something real is happening and then BAM! It happens...

Suddenly out of the blue, the post takes a whole new direction that totally nullifies everything that came before it.

Suddenly the poster claims the UFO was part of a NWO secret black OPs programmed to control his mind and reprogram him with Reptilian DNA....

I see this scenario a lot....and it sux.

If I, for one, ever...EVER had contact with an ET...THAT would be all I ever ranted about...right? I mean, I'd be at the lunatic on the street mumbling, .."I saw an ET....really...I don't believe it...I saw an ET"...

But when people start with a ET, UFO, etc, story and then by the end of their rant they're barking about the Federal Reserve and the fake moon landings....well

....just blows the whole discussion.

Anyone else ever run across this issue?
