A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. †.

Re: ANYBODY GOING TO PASTOR ARNOLD MURRAY'S PASSOVER
Arnold Murray is a false teacher. His teachings will put you in the pit of hell with him.

He predicted that the war of Armageddon will start on June 8-9, 1985 in "a valley of the Alaskan peninsula." We know this did not happen. We also know what God says of those who prophecy in His name as laid out in the Bible:

He presents himself as a Christian scholar, calls himself "Dr.", and says he is an ex-marine who served in the Korean war where he was wounded. Unfortunately, proof of his doctorate degree is not available. He also refuses to provide any documentation regarding his scholastic achievements.

One of the several false doctrines of the Shepherd's Chapel is the teaching that all people had an existence prior to being here on earth in what is called the first earth age. This aligns with the “gap theory” which tries to make the Bible conform to evolution versus it truly being created in six 24 hour days just as Genesis, in its plainest reading says. These theories are what attacks the foundation of the Bible and causes it to lose its authority not only in the secular world, but with professing Christians as well. The Shepherd's Chapel teaches that we were created in the first earth age, a time before the fall, where we existed in the form of soul bodies. The problem with this is that there is no Biblical support for this position. In fact, the Bible contradicts this soul-body idea.

Two additional distinguishing and erroneous doctrines of the Shepherd's Chapel are known as the Serpent Seed doctrine and the Kenite doctrine. These are intimately related. The Serpent Seed doctrine is the teaching that in the Garden of Eden, the serpent (the devil) had sexual relations with Eve. The result was that she bore Cain. The descendants of Cain are called Kenites. Abel, however, is the result of Adam and Eve having relations.

Arnold Murray, the pastor of the Shepherd's Chapel, is the primary advocate of these doctrines which he adamantly teaches and which his followers have adopted as Biblical truth.

The Shepherd's Chapel denies the doctrine of the rapture which is the teaching that upon the future return of Christ those Christians who are alive will be "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air. Accepting or denying the teaching of the rapture does not affect one's salvation. It is a doctrine that can be believed or not without any affect upon a person's position in Christ. Unfortunately, Murray’s teaching is rather harsh regarding the rapture. He states that the rapture is a false doctrine (Newsletter #193 - Nov, 1994) and that many who believe in the rapture will be deceived into worshiping the Antichrist (Newsletter #205, Nov. 1995). At one point Mr. Murray stated that 95 percent of the churches that teach the rapture will accept the antichrist as the savior (Newsletter #116, June 1988). Such statements are simply not sustainable from a biblical perspective.

The next problematic issue with this church is its denial of the Trinity. The Bible teaches that there is one God in three persons: Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Shepherd's Chapel teaches modalism, the idea that God is one person who took different forms or modes. The Christian church long condemned modalism as contrary to sound biblical theology.

The Shepherd's Chapel is at best a very aberrant Christian church and at worst, a cult. Is denial of the Trinity enough to make a group non-Christian? Yes it is. If Murray continues to deny the Trinity, that God is three distinct persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, then this would cast great doubt upon Murray as a proper Bible teacher.

He regularly calls others liars, deceivers, idiots, losers, etc. Murray is full of quick, condescending remarks about anyone who disagrees with him. Unfortunately, it is rubbing off on his followers and this is particularly troublesome since there is a recording of him pulling a gun on someone who disagreed with him in a teaching setting. This is not showing grace, mercy, and love that Jesus Christ Himself preached.

Stay as far away from this man as you possibly can.

We will be having a Passover here on the evening of the 18th. (14th day of the 1st month). The lamb will be here around noon, slain around 1 & put in the rotissierie around 2:30.

Many GLP'ers have been invited to keep Passover with us.

Lots of finger food, unleavened bread, telling of what the night means.

We'll be finishing off the night when we watch the 10 commandments movie.

Arnold Murray of Shepherd's Chapel Failed Prophecies

 Quoting: King James 1271077

You are wrong....go to the website and read letters to critics....

he says...
I teach YHVH ("I Am That I Am" and Hebrew for the Sacred Name of God), Yahshua (Hebrew for God's Saviour Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. When you speak the Truth it is the Holy Spirit manifesting Himself through you. Matthew 10:20 explicitly says "For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." The meaning, of course, refers to the Holy Spirit as in Mark 13:11 which notes, "but when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do you premeditate; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost (Spirit)." I make no apology for teaching the Godhead in this manner, and I certainly do not need an endorsement or approval or further interpretation of my words from any man or group of research witch hunters.

Someone wrote a letter to him on air and ask about the trinity which he obviously believes in.

Next...
The rapture IS a false doctrine, we aren't leaving before the tribulation, and this is Biblical.

What about teaching Serpent Seed? I make no apology for teaching the Word of God. In Matthew 13, our Lord and Saviour explains the Parable of the Sower directly to His disciples. He is very explicit about exactly who the sower of the bad seed really is. Matthew 13:37-39 states, "He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels."

Let no one tell you Christ was speaking in a parable here for He was carefully explaining to His disciples the real meaning of the parable He had previously spoken to the multitude. He talked with them in private, and He used language that a child could understand. Christ's teaching of the seed of the devil (or serpent) was nothing new, it was taught from the beginning of Scripture - Genesis.

In Genesis 3:15 God is speaking to the serpent, "and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel." The bruising of the heel took place when Christ was nailed to the Cross. And finally, for those who still want further proof as to who the serpent really is; we read in Revelation 12:9, "and the great Dragon was cast out, that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world." Now can anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear have any doubt or confusion about Satan's own seed?

You absolutely have no clue what you're talking about, and unless you wake up and read the Bible chapter by chapter vs by verse then you will be deceived in the end with many others.

but i will say this HE IS RIGHT ABOUT THE RAPTURE - IT IS A LIE AND WILL NOT HAPPEN.

If I'm up at night I'll tune into Shepard's Chapel just for a few hearty laughs. Arnold Murray is fathom depths of dumb. It's frightning that people like him are running loose and not in a care facility being medicated for major mental disorders. Murray's son's are some pretty sorry looking loser's as well. Especially David Murray who I swear is retarded. Sheesh, the abuse those poor kids must've been subjected to have a nutcase for a father.

Another shining example of Arnold Murray's bogus tactics is his repeated failure to reveal where he got his purported doctorate. He does go by "Dr." in his name. Obviously the "Dr." is a self proclaimed garnishing. He has no doctorate. My gosh, how could anybody that stupid possess anything greater than an 8th grade education.

Arnold Murray is a fraud. His followers are the lazy bumpkins who can't think outside of the box. Oh, the bible say's it's so then it must be. Beeeeeeeeeeeeep! Wrong answer!

As for us free thinkers (atheists and agnostics) life is a breeze of fresh air with the omission of illogical nonsense, stinking like a heaping pile of runny, orange dog shit that the bible thumpers keep dumping upon the dullards who believe in the crap, and continuously slip and slide in all of that redolent, biblical mire !

And the lame guitar music they play in between shows. It sounds oh so hillbilly! I bet every trailer dweller in Gravette, AK has old Murray or one of his gooney son's tuned in to lull themselves asleep. Cool people will watch Letterman and Leno at night.
